The Thomas W. Ventulett III Distinguished Chair in Architectural Design in the School of Architecture was established in 2004 to draw distinguished names in architecture to Georgia Tech with hopes of furthering design research and innovative thinking particularly within the student body. Monica Ponce de Leon, Nader Tehrani, and Lars Spuybroek are the three past Ventulett chairs, each has brought his or her own research initiatives to great awareness in the School of Architecture.
